Wow.

This is solid awesome. I'll have to try out that TSE X30. Right now, I'm using Amplitube 3, and it's working out pretty well. And I'm very impressed with the sound you got out of Superior Drummer 2.0. Are you using The Metal Foundry expansion? Or vanilla?
Sounding really good, dude!
Keep it up!

Sweet.

Very odd, but it's still got a pretty good groove. The overall sound is very slick. I like it.

Keep it up!

A Fellow Patriot

Good music, my fellow la-le-lu-le-lo lover.
MGS for the win.

Awesome.

I like how you occasionally sneak in some MGS sounds as well as others into this stew of cyberorganic insanity.

Good job!

Metal Gear Solid Much?

This was awesome. Sounded totally like an MGS tune, but a little prettier. Have you done any composing for any actual feature-length movies before? I'm pretty sure if you wanted to, you'd definitely be able to do it, no doubt. If I ever get around to making stuff like that, I'd hire you in an instant if you were up for it.

Keep it up!

Devastus responds:

Thanks alot, man! It definitely has some MGS-esque feeling to it, might have to do with me doing a Big Boss run like a week before making this :P

I've only composed around 10-15 minutes long short movie stuff to this date. Definitely wouldn't mind trying a full-length soundtrack someday if I ever get lucky.

Wow.

This puts my Davy Jones and Kraken cover to shame. I thought I did a good job with the "by ear" thing, but this blows it out of the water. Very, very good job, mate. And congratulations on winning the Orchestral NAC.

Keep it up!

More like "Best of the Month".

This basically sounded like a more symphonic/orchestral version of a recent Arch Enemy song with so-so vocals.
This totally kicked ass, dude(s).

Keep it up!

Hope to hear more. And, maybe when I get my skills up, might get to work with each other down the road.

Wow.

You have an incredible understanding of scoring good music for film and the like. Keep up the good work.

Drums...

...are way too quiet. The guitar could have a much fuller sound (not sure how your setup is, so I'm not sure how muh I can help you with that), but teh actual guitar work was absolutely splendid. I gave it a 9 instead of 10, because the mixing wasn't the best. Just keep fiddling around and you'll get it. (Especially make the drums louder)

Keep it up!

DeathMetalGod responds:

Thanx!

Wow.

Awesome cover, awesome work, awesome sound. You're on my favorites for a very good reason, dude!
By the way, what plug-ins are you using for the guitars? I'm using FreeAmp 3, currently. It works great, but I want to explore all options before settling on something.

Devastus responds:

Thanks! I dunno whether I've responded through a PM or not, I have not knowingly ignored the question however :P

To answer it: I have happened to stumble upon a great, great site that has a variety of free amp sims that only require some good impulses to go with. This particular song is using those things. Google "LePou Plugins" and you'll find it, they're immensely awesome, I hardly even use commercial products anymore. The impulses are a bit harder to find, check the author comments in "Free Ride" song at my audio list to get atleast a good all-around pack for metal guitaring.
