Awesome.

Can't wait for the finished track!
But, yes, I have the same complaints as the others. However, I have a solution. YOur bass drum needs to be LOUDER and MUCH more noticeable. I can barely tell it's there. Also, the ride bell should be turned down just a notch. And, to fix your snare problem, all you need is to replace the second snare sample with something that's nearly pure slap (like a trashcan), then just use both samples. Trust me. It yields great results. I use it in my tracks all the time.

Hope the production goes well.
Keep it up!
And stay brutal! \m/

This is one is going to have to be re-recorded as the computer I was using at the time finally kicked the bucket.

Buuuuutttttttt. I should have a lot of the problems fixed with it when I get around to it. For sure.

Brutal...very...very brutal.

That was awesome, dude. The production is as high quality as your guitar playing. Which is saying something.
At first, after the intro, it sounded like it could easily be one of those cool Boss tracks for some kick-ass RPG. But, after that, I wasn't really sure what to make of it (kind of like the intro). Either way, it still was an awesome song.
Keep it up, dude!

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks dude!

Dude.

YOu have no idea how brutal that was just now. I was watching a trailer for the anime Black Lagoon while listening to this, and it fit almost perfectly. Both by being in sync and by the feel of the mood. Plus, the sound is amazing. I now know to get a Line 6 Pod.

Also, 5/5 2.94 (+0.099) 10/10.

Keep it up!

HappyHomicide responds:

awesome man! Thanks!

8-Strings Rule.

I mean, come on. Listen to Meshuggah!
I knew right away how many strings were on this baby when I heard the gutteral sound of that low bassy chug. \m/
Also, keep up the poly-meter riffs!

HappyHomicide responds:

Ahahaha damn straight sir!

Brutal!

Duncan Hills Coffee!!!
Well, close enough. ;)
This song rules! I lol'ed quite a bit! :D
Also, I noticed that this was released extactly a year before the Dethalbum II.

Keep it up!

HappyHomicide responds:

ahahaha well thanks man!

Cool.

It sounds way too muffled. And, it kills all the other sound (not in a good way). It also sounds way too "thud"-ish and not nearly enough "punch!"
Otherwise, pretty good.

st91 responds:

alright, thanks. ill be sure to edit it. but keep in mind that it might sound different with another melody.

Sweet.

Just what we needed.
Hopefully we'll get back to work on our 2D F.E.A.R. adaptation. This would be perfect for it.

Brutal.

I really want to know how you did that. I'm guessing pitch shift and vocoder. Ah well, it loops well, and is actually pretty good. It'll also take a little bit more than five listens before I go anymore insane than I already am. ;)

Sweet.

I can definitely tell you're going in a new direction. The mix and overall sound is completely different from any of the previous songs you've uploaded. I'm not sure if I like it yet or not. But, I think I'll have my answer by the next song. Because, one thing I've realized with mixing and sound, is it's not what you have that matters, it's what you do with it.
Right now, I'm experimenting with using dead notes in songs. It's pretty trippy.

Keep it up!

@_@

Bad-Man-Incorporated really hit the nail on the head. This is obviously not your best, but that still doesn't detract from the fact that this kicks serious ass.
Oh, yeah. I was also wondering, do you program your drums, or do you have them recorded by you or someone else?
