This is an absolutely awesome soundscape you've created. Especially how it totally captures a lot of that classic 80's action sound, but in HD!
And you're on the Popular Music section of NG, finally! Hope this happens more often, man!

Keep making awesome things and keep sharing them with us!

Devastus responds:

I went in and out of there so fast that I didn't even get to see it haha.

I'll try my best at keeping at it, many things have been for projects currently which means I can't really submit 'em anywhere, which has severely halted my activity around places.

Considering how often projects don't really seem to move anywhere, I should probably concentrate more on my own shit anyway :P

Thanks for the feedback man!

Wow. I think I can hear some Dethklok/Brendon Small influence in there at time(lol)s.
This was very different for you, but still amazing, nonetheless. \m/

Metaljonus responds:

I love me some DethKlok! Thanks for listening dude! I'll be sure to check out your music on SoundCloud.

Awesome! This was totally kick-ass, dude!

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks!

Yes. Just...yes. So freaking epic, and hilarious (the description) at the same time!

Keep it up, dude!

Devastus responds:

Glad you like it, even though it was a one-night brainfart of questionable quality :P

Thanks!

I demand more reviews for you!

PirateCrab responds:

Thank you sir! I'll just keep working on my song in the mean time :')

Amazing.

This equals win. I'm kinda tired and at a loss for words, right now. So coming up with a good review that does this justice without randomly spouting words of praise. I don't want to puff up your ego, but I do want to let you know just how good this really is. But, like I said, it's kinda hard to do so, right now.
But I will say this: love what you do, and do what you love. Reasons can always be added, but if the love is gone, there is no longer any point and all your attempts will fail. But always, always remember what is really important.
If you keep by this, you surely and truly succeed.
Have a very merry Christmas, Mr. Dev sir!
And

Keep it up!

Devastus responds:

Haha, thank you man, I really appreciate it. I'll keep it up, as long as I live, since there's not really much else to do :P

And merry Christmas to you too!

It's sad...

that Skcy3 and myself are the only ones that reviewed this on NG and I'm the only one that commented on your YouTube post of this.
And I did mean what I said on YouTube. If I ever get the money to do so, I will hire you for whatever position(s) you think you are capable of filling (i.e. CG and, especially, music and sound). I would love to work with you when I finally manage to get my foot in the door.

Devastus responds:

Yeah, it is quite sad, kinda feels like I've fallen off from the face of earth. Though alot of that is to blame on myself since I haven't been exactly active with replying and posting to begin with :P

The reason why I've mainly concentrated on soundtrack work as of late (as you can see), is that I'm trying to get into the business. Sadly in here, in Finland, it's behind closed doors and really hard to get into. Dunno whether it'll ever happen, but atleast I've tried.

Thanks for the reviews, man! I really appreciate it, even though I haven't been too active on replying. I'm so tired many times that I find just being silent better than splattering stupidity all over the keyboard :P

Dude.

I can tell you've been listening to Devin Townsend lately. This is fucking awesome!

Devastus responds:

Actually, I hadn't been listening to Devin for like, 3 weeks. This was more of a vocals test and the outcome... well, I didn't bother with thinking up good lyrics :P

If only I could sing as well as Devin does!

Metal Gear Solid Much?

This was awesome. Sounded totally like an MGS tune, but a little prettier. Have you done any composing for any actual feature-length movies before? I'm pretty sure if you wanted to, you'd definitely be able to do it, no doubt. If I ever get around to making stuff like that, I'd hire you in an instant if you were up for it.

Keep it up!

Devastus responds:

Thanks alot, man! It definitely has some MGS-esque feeling to it, might have to do with me doing a Big Boss run like a week before making this :P

I've only composed around 10-15 minutes long short movie stuff to this date. Definitely wouldn't mind trying a full-length soundtrack someday if I ever get lucky.
